Fried Chicken

3 eggs
1 cup Pete's Hot Sauce (usually it's nearly the whole bottle)
1/3 cup of water
2 cups flour
2 1/2 pound chicken pieces
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 bottle peanut oil
Directions:
Ingredients:
In a large bowl, mix the flour and and 1 tablespoon
of black pepper. In a separate bowl, scramble the
eggs add the water and the hot sauce.
(it will not be spicy trust me!) and mix up.
Season the chicken with the salt, garlic and 2
teaspoons of black pepper. Dip the seasoned
chicken in the egg, and then coat well in the flour.
Shake off any excess flour gently and put on a plate. In a large cast iron or large skillet, you want to preheat the peanut oil and fry the chicken in the oil until brown and crisp. Dark meat takes longer than white meat.
It takes approximately 13 to 14 minutes for dark meat and 8 to 10 minutes for white meat give or take depending on the size of your chicken.
Drain on paper towels.
